Bloomington Bandits

Recap for the 06/18/2012 game vs. St. Louis Park

St. Louis Park 7, Bloomington Bandits 2

The Bandits stuck around until a 4 run top of the ninth inning by St. Louis Park which slammed the door shut.  Bandits hit many atom balls throughout the night with no luck against a tough lefty.  The Bloomington nine were squaring up enough pitches to do more damage than we did but thats baseball.    Parks Matt Paulsen was 5 for 5 and is now hitting a legit 6 something for the season  amazing.  Jake Huwe and Sam Baltes each knocked in runs for the squad.  The press box had a very solid night with excellent walk up music for Scott Davis and walk in music for Cliff Christopherson who was almost brought to tears of joy with his Star Wars entry.

Good showing by both clubs minus a nasty ninth for the home squad.  Park is definitely looking primed for a strong season and apparently Paulsen has decided to mash and doesn't really enjoy getting out.  Bandits held Park homerless!
